Riverside Board Co. officially launched during the summer of 2020. The idea - beautiful food, simply - resonates in our products. All of our boxes are made-to order and make a perfect gift. Whether you are gifting it or enjoying it yourself, your Riverside Board Co. box comes tied in a bow, with a card if you like and is full of fresh, seasonal produce and the best cheeses around. Our cheese selections are curated and might include a local cheese, and perhaps one or two that you know and love.
There are two of us, Sarah and Jill, and we ended up on Cleveland’s west side after time in Chicago and NYC. We both love the connection that occurs when people share a meal, or a board of cheese or a bottle of wine, and we liked the idea of a product that was beautiful and not fussy. Fueled by that, we thought creating and sharing boxes - full of pretty, delicious things - would be fun, and we were right!
As demand has grown, we have added sizes, introduced specialty boxes and custom boards and have seen our knife skills improve significantly! We think we have found the perfect job: our “scouting trips” typically include wine, our “product meetings” usually have some sort of cheese or charcuterie tasting and while we don’t love every cheese, we haven’t found one we won’t try.
